The property: an old stone 'Maison de Maître' built in the early 1800s.

Aim: The owners wanted to modernise the existing room and add a utility room. A window was added to the kitchen area and an opening was also made to allow access to another room which will become a lounge.

Constraints: a large Charentaise fireplace, 2 windows, door to outside and internal door plus the new opening for another internal door.

Design style: modern, contemporary. Neutral colour scheme - grey and beige tones.
