The property: a bungalow built in the 1990s with an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area.

​

Aim: the new owners wanted to replace the old kitchen with a lighter and more modern version but one that would connect with the darker oak furniture in the dining area.

​

Constraints: a large heating boiler in the corner needed hiding but was still accessible for regular servicing.

​

Design style: modern meets rustic.

​

Bespoke features: oak bar,  pull-out shelf for a coffee maker, magnetic boiler cover, shelving, and tilting bins.
